 Jack Morris, President of Plum Creek Builders is recognized throughout the United States for his expertise in constructing high performance custom homes. As a member of the founding committee for the Denver Built Green Program in the 90's, he was instrumental in establishing the guidelines in use today.  Plum Creek Builders is committed to constructing custom homes that are a natural continuation of the surrounding environment, with an emphasis on achieving low cooling and heating requirements, and emphasizing the importance of the quality of healthy indoor air.

Plum Creek Builders takes a High Performance systemic approach to homebuilding.  The first part of the System is to build an energy efficient home.  The second part is to incorporate, whenever possible, alternative energy to enable the home to generate some (or all) of its own energy requirements.  The following example illustrates the costs of installing a 3.2 KW Solar Electric System (sized to provide electricity to a 3000 sq. ft. home).
